Faith has licensed the file format specifications which determine functionality, quality, and entertainment for the content, and embedded technology for playing the content to the mobile phone manufacturers and careers both in Japan and abroad.
As, in many cases, Faith's solution is embedded in the semiconductor when provided for the mobile phone manufacturers, Faith has formed partnership with the semiconductor manufacturers.
Faith also cooperates with QUALCOMM's semiconductor business (QUALCOMM: a developer of CDMA technologies) in the W-CDMA market as well as in the CDMA market to accelerate the global business development. |

Faith's technology license business for mobile phones provides a variety of products depending on the service market.
Faith provides solutions via various products. Such solutions include the provision of the content file format developed by Faith, support for the international standards including 3GPP, from 16 to 128 chords, and from 16 KHz to 44.1 KHz sampling rate effecting tones.
Different types of media that produces music are also integrated, including audio data (such as ADPCM), LED, vibe, 3D audio, image data, and text data.
These technologies are implemented in the mobile phone in various ways; by embeding them in the semiconductor, or by using software.
As the use of software has been increasing greatly, Faith has stored the know-how based on the experience to reduce operational workload and improve quality.
At the same time, the development of the product requires a product planning specific to the needs of each service market more than the technical specifications.
Faith develops the products based on the total product planning, considering the service environment, the content creation environement, network distribution system, and business situation, as well as the technical know-how. |
