Giga Networks in Faith Group makes MVP and Media Complex its subsidiaries
œ Strengthening video programme content creation, production and distribution business
œ Cultivating the market for distribution of senior-oriented content
 
 
Tokyo-April 26, 2007---Giga Networks, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as gGiga Networksh), a subsidiary of Faith, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as gFaithh), has decided to make MVP, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as gMVPh) and Media Complex Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as gMedia Complexh) its wholly owned subsidiaries by acquiring all of the stock owned by Aeria Inc. and the Aeria Group. MVP is active in digital content creation, production and distribution, while Media Complex is engaged in the content distribution business focusing on the senior-oriented market.

About MVP Itfs cores of the business are the creation and production of digital content for mobile phones utilizing a wide array of entertainers, procurement of distribution rights for video content, and creation and production of the cross-media content compatible among online game, radio programmes and videos for PC. Content created and produced by MVP is distributed on a mobile phone website managed by the company itself and also on a video distribution website managed by other companies.

About Media Complex Established in July 2006 through a joint investment between MVP and Fandango Inc. (hereinafter referred to as gFandango,h) a Yoshimoto Kogyo Group subsidiary, to develop video content distribution business targeting senior audience including the baby boomer generation. In November 2006, Media Complex launched www.warau-senior.com, a free video site for PC users that distributes comedy content targeting senior-oriented market such as classical rakugo and manzai, in cooperation with Fandango.

Giga Networks strengthens the video content distribution business by utilizing the video and other digital content creation capabilities acquired by MVP as well as its marketing know-how and the results of its efforts in procuring rights for the distribution of video content and also by providing services for mobile phone and PC users to paying subscribers of over 3 million held by Giga Networksf mobile content distribution services. Giga Networks is the top-runner of this field in Japan with the largest number of paying subscribers to its mobile service targeting the senior market. By making senior-oriented content distributor Media Complex a subsidiary, Giga Networks will create and cultivate the market for distribution of senior-oriented content which is expected to undergo rapid expansion.
